Junior Beef Breeding Heifers

Late entries will be accepted with a $25 charge.

Breeding Heifers are not required to be registered but must be purebred and must show the characteristics of the beef breed.

Breeding Heifers must be trained to lead with a halter. Heifers unable to be controlled may be eliminated from the competition. This will be determined by the Superintendent.

Six breeding Heifers will constitute a lot, if there are more than six Heifers in a class the class will be broken down by age. If there are more than three of any breed then a separate breed class will be made for the breed. (Superintendent will determine classes)

Grand Champion will be selected from the 1st place heifers from each class. Reserve Grand Champion will be selected from the remaining 1st place heifers from each class and the 2nd place heifer from the class that produced the Grand Champion.
