About The El Paso County Fair Association
The membership of the El Paso County Fair Association would like to
take a moment to thank everyone who has worked to help produce the
El Paso County Fair. So much effort goes into putting on a county
fair, and so little is done to recognize those working behind the
scenes.
Many people have worked diligently throughout the
year on the many facets of the El Paso County Fair; the golf
tournament, livestock show, consumer science and industrial arts
competitions scholarship program, buckle sponsors and the buyer’s
banquet and auction, Each of
these wonderful people asked for nothing, and gave countless hours
in the name of the youth of El Paso County. His or her reward comes
in the success of the child everyone thought would never succeed; of
seeing a child come home from college and give freely of themselves
to the next generation of Fair participants or simply a smile from a
toothless little boy who is getting his first trophy in a peewee
show. These rewards are priceless in the eyes of those who volunteer
their time, resources and money.
El Paso County Fair
volunteers are truly heroes - they give so graciously and ask for
nothing for themselves. They are constantly setting a positive
example of leadership and fair play for every child participating in
the El Paso County Fair.
The El Paso County Fair Association
would also like to express a huge thank you to all of our wonderful
sponsors - thank you for sharing our mission for the youth of El
Paso County and the surrounding areas. The El Paso County Fair
Association couldn't do this without your support.
Finally,
thank you to all the men and women who went before us, blazing the
trail - we still depend on your leadership, expertise and
experience.
To the youth participating in the El Paso County
Fair, enjoy the fair and best wishes, there are more people pulling
for you than you can imagine. If you see an adult helping out, take
a moment to say thank you - you may find you just made a great
friend.
Parents, if you would like to get involved, but do
not know how, come join us on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Progress only happens through the participation of caring people
like you.
