Camryn Armstrong

Camryn Anne Armstrong has earned the crown of the 2016 El Paso County Fair Queen.  She is the proud daughter of David and Cecily Armstrong, step-daughter of Lee Armstrong and sister to Lacy, Reiley, Tyler and Kason.  The El Paso County Fair is a family tradition for Camryn as her dad, aunt and siblings have found comfort in the competition of the fair. Camryn has been an active participant of the El Paso County Fair in which she has excelled as a swine exhibitor and competed in the Consumer Science division in baked goods, photography, metal art, and woodworking projects.  These projects have helped Camryn develop care taking, resiliency, a hard work ethic, leadership, and communication skills.

Camryn is currently a freshman at Clint High School where she is active in the National FFA Organization, the Golf Team and currently serves as President of the Sunset 4-H Chapter. Camryn hopes to pursue a career in the medical field after graduation and plans to utilize her skills taking care of others. When Camryn isn't working animals or creating projects she enjoys riding dirt bikes with her dad and siblings in the desert of Southern New Mexico.  She also enjoys a weekend game of golf with her mom and practicing her cosmetology skills with make-up. Beautiful, athletic and eager to work are all great characteristics of the 2016 El Paso County Fair Queen, Camryn Armstrong.
